Lambing has commenced

First lamb dropped a couple days ahead of “schedule”. I was mostly ready but didn’t have my birthing kit (scissors, iodine, latex gloves) gathered into the paint cup I use to transport around the barn. Usual business of getting the post lambing pens (called jugs) ready for business. Two down, five ewes to go.

Not much happened in the shop this week

Had some problems with my power hammer. Sorry to say I’m rather at sea when it comes to troubleshooting pneumatic systems, but with help from Ontario blacksmith, Dave Robertson at www.ArtistBlacksmith.com, the problem may be solved.
