Blacksmith projects update

The repaired spool valve is on it’s way back so I can resume work on the frame and larger leaves of the Frog & Bittern panels. In the meantime I’ve been making fern leaves and revamping an earlier piece for a show in New Brunswick. (The gallery owner needed photos of a finished piece.)

Lambing has commenced

First lamb dropped a couple days ahead of “schedule”. I was mostly ready but didn’t have my birthing kit (scissors, iodine, latex gloves) gathered into the paint cup I use to transport around the barn. Usual business of getting the post lambing pens (called jugs) ready for business. Two down, five ewes to go.
