Although it’s still winter, the sun is coming back. It’s warm enough to spend time in the shop again. I hear the mating call of the chickadees now as I walk out. Planning for this coming year is close to finished.
The December market days in Wolfville were so nice that I’m expanding my season there. Starting May 4th you can find me at the Wolfville Farmers Market on the first Saturday of each month – June 1, August 3, September 7, October 5, November 2 (tentatively) and all Saturdays in December until Christmas.
July is not yet scheduled at the FM due to conflicts with two very important blacksmithing events. CANIRON 9, June 28 – July 1 in Quebec and Fort Louisbourg, Cape Breton Forge 300 Hammer In. I’ll be attending the former and helping out at the later.
2013 Craft shows: I hope to attend the Avondale Art Fair (June 16th), The Chester Art Festival (Aug 10th) and am contemplating the NSDCC summer show in Halifax in July. I’ve already reserved my space for the NSDCC Christmas Show at the Cunard Centre. We will be migrating from the emerging artist 5 x 5 to a 10 x 5 space close by.
Hope to see you at one or more of these wonderful events.
