The Medal Wave
With all due respects to Hokusai. A take off on his Great Wave of Kanagawa made from 16 gauge sheet metal and forged strips, with stainless steel sheet cut to resemble white caps. The piece is intended to show off a wonderful collection of swimming medals won by the clients’ son. Medals are screwed, wired or riveted on. The piece can be disassembled so that more medals can be added. It is 28″ x 38″.
