Although I’ve been distracted by other to-do lists, some progress is being made on the new shop. Wallboard is up, as is tin around the active forging areas, mostly. Metal stock has been moved from my old shop to the space along the wall where I hope to hang it. Once the storage racks are up and I can sort the iron, I’ll set up a simple forging area and layout space to see what else can go where. I’ll have to hang doors to restrict spark access to the livestock area but for now, it’s been rather companionable looking over to see the sheep chewing cud and speculating about what I’m up to.
