Just finished this item in time for the client’s spouse’s birthday. The ram is about 18″ high and 24″ long, made of 16 ga. sheet metal. Blacksmithing can be as complex as one cares to make it. It’s based on a few simple operations: stretching or drawing out, compressing otherwise known as upsetting, and then there’s widening or fullering.
